TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus review tab trade terms, is at Trade The Day.
